About the project
Set up by Stonehouse residents, this Community Benefit Society 'nudges' local people to 'be brave, creative, healthy and support themselves and their local community' by repurposing unloved local buildings and using their voice. Eight years on they have unlocked 25% of the empty buildings along Union Street. for community use and the model is being copied elsewhere..
