About the project
An 'ethical developer' creating typologies for socially, environmentally and economically sustainable neighbourhoods. The leading example is The Phoenix, a development of 700 homes, with public amenities and community spaces on a brownfield site outside Lewes. It is demonstrating in real time the key processes required to deliver a model of sustainable placemaking and healthy living.

Potential for health services alongside shops, community and cultural facilities or housing
Active local community-led development: CLTs, CDTs, cohousing partners
